Bathurst Regional Council runs a number of community and major events each year, and attracts a growing number of people annually. Council is committed to providing family friendly, diverse, and fun events to suit all tastes.

Partner with Us

Bathurst Regional Council welcomes the opportunity to partner with us to help us deliver our major and community events.

With an exciting variety of engaging major events throughout the year, Bathurst Regional Council Events successfully reach a vast audience in both media coverage and attendance. Our events calendar includes a number of highly publicised sporting events as well as community events with celebratory and cultural themes throughout the year. We are looking to engage with suitable partners to help deliver high quality programming and unique experiences for our audiences.

With your support we can continue the sustainability of our events by further developing our event programs and maintaining a high-quality experience for our audiences.

Food & Beverage Vendors

Food and beverage vendors are a key feature at many of our events across the year. Apply below and we'll be in touch regarding your application.

Required Documents

To be considered for Council's events all food and beverage vendors are required to provide:

  • Current Public Liability Insurance with Bathurst Regional Council noted as an interested party and cover for $20 million (applies to both food and alcohol vendors).
  • Bathurst Regional Council approved Food Permit (applies to both food and alcohol vendors) - If you do not currently have this, this can be applied for upon your acceptance to be a vendor at a Bathurst Council event by applying here.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (applies to both food and alcohol vendors).
  • LP Gas checklist (if cooking with gas, including BBQ).
  • Current RSA (applies to alcohol vendors)

Please note, vendor selection is at the discretion of Bathurst Regional Council. Vendors will be selected in order of application submission date with preference given to locals. If two vendors apply and are selling the same/similar products, preference will be given to locals and in order of application submission date.

 

If you are accepted to attend any of Council's events as a vendor and fail to supply the required documentation and/or fail to meet the health and safety regulations, you will be removed from the event and may be subject to fines and penalties.

Market Stalls

We welcome market stalls to feature across a number of days during our biggest event of the year, the Bathurst Winter Festival, as well as at Friday SuperFest held in Kings Parade during Race Week for the annual Repco Bathurst 1000.

Food cannot be sold from a market stall unless it is pre-packaged goods, e.g. jams and relishes. Preparation of food cannot be done on-site. If you intend to sell food made onsite you must apply as a food vendor.

  • If selling pre-packaged food, stall holders must also provide a Bathurst Regional Council approved Food Permit (if you do not currently have this, this can be applied for upon your acceptance to be a vendor at a Bathurst Council event by applying here) and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

Musicians and Entertainers

Whether you’re a band, solo musician, stilt walker, magician, comedian or children’s entertainer, there are opportunities for musicians and entertainers to be involved in various events across the year.

If you’re interested in submitting your performance/act for consideration, complete the application form below so that we can get to know you and your act a bit better.

All applications will be reviewed by the Bathurst Regional Council Events Team and if chosen to perform for an event you will be contacted directly.
