The Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (PID Act) applies to all NSW public sector agencies.
At Council, we strive to achieve and maintain the highest ethical standards in all that we do, and take reports of fraud, corrupt conduct or wrongdoing seriously. If you are concerned about fraud, corruption or wrongdoing at Council, please report it using our online form, below.
The NSW Ombudsman has developed a PID factsheet which can be downloaded from

Public officials can also use this form to make a public interest disclosure. The Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (PID Act) provides a framework for public officials, such as Council staff, Councillors or Council volunteers or contractors, to report serious wrongdoing. This framework does not apply to reports of wrongdoing from members of the public. See Council's Public Interest Disclosure Policy attached for more information.
Members of the public can report an issue using the Public Interest Disclosure Form.
