Recycle your unwanted child car safety seats through Bathurst Regional Council for FREE!

When? 16 November 2024, 9am – 12pm

Where? Cooke Hockey Complex Carpark, Lions Club Drive, Kelso

No booking required.

Car seats are essential for protecting our precious little ones. However, when they are no longer needed, it can be difficult to know what to do with them.

When still compliant, they can be donated and reused, however when the car seat has reached end of life, it is necessary to dispose of it responsibly. To properly recycle a car seat, its materials need to be separated, which can be a barrier to appropriate recycling habits.

Bathurst Regional Council is here to help you!

From 9am – 12pm on 16 November 2024, you can drop off your unwanted child car seats at the Cooke Hockey Complex and we will recycle them for FREE. This is a one-off event so don’t miss out.

When you arrive, we kindly request you remain in your vehicle and follow staff instructions.

This project is an NSW Environment Protection Authority Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy initiative, funded from the waste levy.
