Mr Cattermole has worked for Council since February 2015 and has driven a period of positive change within the Cultural and Community Services Department.

Under his stewardship, Council has received national awards, refurbished the vital community services including Bathurst Library, Kelso Community Hub, Bathurst Visitor Information Centre and restructured Children’s Services, including a major building upgrade to the Scallywags Building in William Street.

Council’s General Manager David Sherley thanked Mr Cattermole for his commitment to the role during his tenure.

“On behalf of the Council, I thank Mr Cattermole for his leadership and commitment to this organisation and the community during his time as Director Cultural and Community Services. We wish him every success in his new role.”
