Bathurst Regional Council is proud to be recognised with a number of finalist nominations in this year's NSW Tourism Awards.
The NSW Tourism Awards are the state's peak annual tourism industry event, recognising the best in tourism, hospitality operators and events from all over NSW.
Council is proud to have four finalists in the 2024 awards program:
Bathurst Visitor Information Centre (Category: Visitor Information Services)
Bathurst Winter Festival (Category: Festivals and Events)
Bathurst Regional Council (Category: Local Government Award for Tourism)
Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail (Category: Festivals and Events)
Mayor Cr Robert Taylor proudly commended Council on the nominations and for consistently bringing visitors to our excellent city.
“This recognition means the world. It celebrates Council's commitment to providing unforgettable, diverse experiences within our community and driving tourism to the Bathurst Region at all times of the year” he said.
Council extends congratulations and the best of luck to the other local finalists:
Hipscotch (Tourism Services)
Wilga Station (Accommodation)
This combined number of nominations across the region sets a record for Bathurst's representation at the annual event.
The awards gala will take place in Sydney on 28 November, where the category winners will be announced.
