Tree planting days

Why not join us this Sunday 25 August 2024 for our Community Tree Planting Day and lend a hand to help plant native plants along a tributary of Raglan Creek.

Commencing at 10am in Bonnor Street Drainage Reserve, just off Murdoch Place, the event welcomes adults and kids alike to participate in planting native trees, shrubs, and grasses. The plantings will not only provide important habitat for local wildlife including native birds but also improve the health and function of this important urban waterway.

After the planting activities, the Bathurst Regional Council will host a free barbecue lunch for all participants.

Parking is available in Murdoch Place, Kelso. Four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle access to the planting site is ONLY permissible for volunteers with a disability. This access is available via Murdoch Place.
