Upgrade works at Bathurst Waste Management Centre

Essential upgrade works will be undertaken at the Waste Management Centre transfer station from Sunday 23 March through to Wednesday 26 March 2025.

The upgrade works will recoat the transfer station floor to create a hard-wearing surface. This will extend the life of the floor and help with waste removal from this area.

What will this mean for those accessing the Waste Management Centre at this time?

On Sunday 23 March, the transfer station will be fully closed, and partial closures will be in place from Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 March. Waste can still be brought to the Waste Management Centre during this period, and it will be collected and separated appropriately.

We ask for your patience while this work is undertaken as there will be some delays for those using the facility on these days, or if you can plan your visit around these works it would be appreciated. When you are onsite, please follow the directions of traffic control.
