This Strategy ensures that we approach all our engagement activities consistently, especially for projects that need community input. Under the Local Government Act 1993 - Section 406 Integrated Planning and Reporting the IP & R framework (IP&R), Council is required to review its Community Engagement Strategy (CES) within three months of the election of the new Council.

Have your say - Ngurang Arts Residency (BARN)
Bathurst Regional Council is seeking community feedback on the Ngurang Arts Residency (BARN) project to inform future decision making on the facility.
The intent of the Ngurang Arts Residency is to be a creative hub; a place for creative development, rehearsal and training utilised by a range of specialist and community groups supporting the expansion of the performing arts in the Central West.
Council is seeking broader community feedback on the project. Namely, to determine the level of local support, and the social and economic benefits the facility would bring to the community.
