Bathurst comes alive during Race Week!

To celebrate the annual Repco Bathurst 1000, a series of off-track events and activations are held throughout the city for fans and locals to enjoy.

What's On

Wednesday Street Party

Wednesday 9 October

When: 5pm – 7pm
Where: Russell Street (between George & William Streets)
Cost: Free

The 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 will kick off with an epic Street Party on the Wednesday night of Race Week from 5-7pm in the Bathurst CBD.

The action starts at 5pm, headlined by a Track to Town featuring all 26 Supercars making the journey from the iconic Mount Panorama circuit to Russell Street, lead by the prime movers of the team transporters, then parking up in the town centre at approximately 5:45pm in front of the Bathurst Court House.

From 5:45pm, you'll be able to see the PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge finals where the top four pit crews from across the 2024 Supercars season will battle it out for the $20,000 prize and the coveted Golden Rattle Gun Trophy.

An all driver signing session will take place from 6:00pm to 6:50pm, where you can get a free poster and grab an autograph, as well as a selfie with your favourite drivers on the grid!

Plus, grab some merchandise, enjoy a sausage sizzle or ice cream, watch the unveiling of the 2023 winner’s plaque that will be cemented into the Victor's Walk footpath out the front of Council's Civic Centre. The 20 metre long black and white chequered footpath is a memorial to the winners of the Bathurst 500 and later 1000. Each and every year has a plaque cemented into the Victor's Walk, while some years' mark two signifying the split in the sport in the late 1990s.

And the entire Repco Bathurst 1000 Street Party will be televised on a live show from 5:30pm on Fox Sports and Kayo.

Key Times
  • 5pm - 7pm | Russell Street precinct open
