Sharps or Syringes Hypodermic needles can be dangerous, if you have a medical condition that requires their use ensure you dispose of them correctly.There are two sites for sharps disposal, one at the Kelso Community Centre and the Bathurst RSL carpark, these are accessible 24 hours a day or to find a site near you visit http://www.safesharps.org.au/
Soft Plastic (pasta and potato chip packets) Due to the temporary suspension of the REDcycle program all soft plastics should be disposed of in the red lid waste bin until further notice. Please DO NOT place any soft plastic including plastic bags in the yellow-lid kerbside bin.
Soil Should not be placed in the lime green lidded food and green waste bin but returned to garden beds or grassed areas or small quantities placed in the red lidded waste bin.
Steel Cans Steel cans or tins should be rinsed and placed along with lids in the yellow lidded recycling bin. Labels can be left on cans or removed.
