2017 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour Driver welcome
Mayor of Bathurst Cr Gary Rush will officially welcome the 194 drivers taking part in the 2017 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour to the city at a function at Rydges tonight, Thursday 2 February.
Last year’s winning team, Tekno Autosports (Shane Van Gisbergen, Alvaro Parente and Jonathon Webb) will be presented with the 2016 winners plaque.

Inland Forum meeting
Mayor Cr Gary Rush will host a meeting of the Inland Forum of Councils on Friday 3 February. The Inland Forum brings together representatives from Albury, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga Councils. The forum provides an opportunity for the Councils to work together to promote the inland cities and to share ideas and benefits on issues of common interest and concern. The meeting will be held at the Mount Panorama pit complex.

2017 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour Champions dinner
The sold-out 12 Hour Champions dinner this year features four drivers who will entertain with tales of their driving experiences on circuits around the world and Mount Panorama - two-times Bathurst 12 Hour winner Christopher Miles, former Formula 1 driver Markus Winkelhock, Spa 24 Hour Am Cup winner Liam Talbot and Bathurst 100 and Bathurst 24 hour winner Todd Kelly. The dinner is also a fundraiser for the Cathedral Restoration appeal, with the last two dinners raising $10,000 from the memorabilia auction held on the night. A large range of items is again up for auction at the event.

Bathurst Street and Custom Motorcycle Show
The Bathurst Street and Custom Motorcycle show is on again on Saturday in Russell Street. More than 200 motorcycles will be on display with live music and a jumping castle for the kids. There will be displays from 18 different vendors and awards for best bike and people’s choice and rally and club awards.
The show runs from 8.30am until 2.30pm.
