Bathurst Regional Council, in partnership with the NSW Department of Industry, is bringing Dr Keith Suter to Bathurst for ‘Back to Business Week’.
Dr Suter is a global futurist, thought leader and author, and the International Affairs Expert on Channel Seven’s Sunrise program. He will be providing his unique insights into what is in store for the Australian and NSW economy at an economic and business outlook morning tea to be held at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre at 10.30 am, Tuesday 28 February 2017.
Mayor of Bathurst Councillor Gary Rush said that the morning tea represented a unique opportunity for local businesses to engage with a respected and influential thinker.
“Dr Suter has a well established reputation for providing real insights into complex global business issues, showing how these issues impact upon regional businesses both now and into the future.”
‘Back to Business Week’ is a NSW Government initiative that celebrates small to medium businesses and promotes and supports the critical role they play in local communities.
“Bathurst Regional Council is committed to recognising and supporting the many diverse businesses of the Bathurst region.
“It is important for all local businesses to understand the current and future economic challenges we all face, and particularly how the major political and economic changes occurring around the world will trickle down and affect regional centres like Bathurst. This is the subject that Dr Suter will bring his special focus to at this event,” Cr Rush said.
